The Auto-focus is accurate and fast. For distance shots, it’s not the best

I’ve been using the 7D for about 6 months now and have found it to be a very rewarding experience to use it. The positive points of this camera, I have found are:

* The Auto-focus is accurate and fast. For distance shots, it’s not the best. For example, if you’re trying to take a photo of a flying bird against a similar background, you won’t be able to see the bird quite so well. But most cameras have this issue. When you’re just taking normal pictures, they turn out awesome.

* The speed is 8 FPS and makes people look at you when you’re firing off shots.

* It’s unbelievably easy to use. The buttons can be customized to make things easier for you.

* The ISO sensitivity is amazing and gives you photos so sharp it’s like you’re actually IN the picture.

Now nothing is perfect and there are a couple of things I consider to be negative factors with the 7D. For one thing, if you need to use the 6400, you’ll more likely get a grainy quality. The video function is still rather raw. There’s no fast auto-focus.

If the 5D2 is too expensive for you, go with this one. However, the 7D works as a great alternative to my 5D2. This one is especially great when shooting wildlife and sports events.
